Becoming a Science Teacher

Many science teachers earn a bachelor's degree in a specific scientific discipline, such as biology or physics, or an education degree with a specialty in science. A thorough knowledge of general science is expected, as teachers in elementary and middle schools are expected to teach a variety of science topics.
