Can a Working Mom of 3 Earn a Degree and Become a Teacher?

I am 25 years old and I have been married for 10 years now. I stopped school after 10th grade and currently have 3 children. They are 4,7, and 10 months old. I know it’s kind of silly, but I have been searching lately about how to earn a GED and where to find a good, cheap university to become a teacher. I have always dreamed of teaching in a school. I currently work and home school as well. Sometimes I think that I am doing too much to put college in the middle, and other times I wonder if I can handle it. Thoughts?

A GED is a test that is taken at an official testing center through your state’s departments of education. Your second option is a high school diploma online. Upon completion of this program, you not only earn a high school diploma, but the program also gets you ready for a future college career.
– Enroll in a bachelor’s degree program in education. Taking into account the information you have given me, I recommend looking into online universities. Through these your entire program can be done online from your home computer. You can work around your children’s needs and once they are off to bed or nap, you can “go to class” while sitting at your home computer.
