Luckily for you, the information you need is just a quick internet search and phone call away. As you are probably aware, the GED is offered in sites throughout each state. The information is handled by each state’s department of education.
Go to the website for the “Arizona Department of Education” and look under adult education services. You will see there some listings of GED testing areas. When I did the search I saw there are two sites in Yuma County with phone numbers you can contact for specific time and place. You should check yourself for the most current information.
Many people write in to ask if they can take the GED online. Unfortunately, it is not an option to take it online. No GED offered online is legitimate, because the only official sites are through the department of education.
Before you take the test make sure that you have done the proper preparation. This can include studying the subjects at home alone, joining a group in your local community (check with the department of education), or taking an online preparatory course. For a list of subject areas covered in the GED, take a look at the state or national department of education website.
