At the moment health-care related occupations have not been negatively impacted due to the rising unemployment rate. However, while other occupations have been impacted, there is a rising interest in the health-care field as well as other fields that are more stable in an economically unstable environment. Having said that, I also want to add that in some ways it makes sense to mold your education toward the trend in tough economic times, but in other ways it doesn’t makes sense, as we all know the adage “times change”. It’s always best to list your options and do a bit of research before moving forward with any plan.
