Teaching is a diverse profession: predictably, master's degree programs in education are similarly diverse. Most programs will give you an opportunity to choose a particular area of focus, such school administration, special education, or a particular subject such as English or math. As you become qualified to teach more advanced subjects, earnings typically go up. Many districts will also partially or fully reimburse you for tuition costs.
