Independence University - Online Online Degree Program: AS - Allied Health

The Associate of Science in Allied Health program can
help you complete qualifications to advance professionally in the
health and human services field. This program allows you to
transfer up to 45 semester credits from a previous allied health
program so that you need only take another fifteen credits to
complete your associate's degree. These transfer credits must
come from a curriculum completed at an accredited institution and
may be in one of the following allied health fields:
Anesthesiology Athletic
Training Blood Bank Technology
Cardiovascular Technology EEG
Technology EMT/Paramedic
Lab Technician Medical
Assistant Medical Illustration
Medical Records Medical
Sonography Medical Transcription
Occupational Therapy Ophthalmic
Technology Opticianry
Perfusion Pharmacy
Technician Radiology
Respiratory Care Surgical
Technology Other fields approved by
IU If fewer than 45 credits are transferred in,
additional courses will be required to complete the 60 credits
needed to graduate.
