Security Training
Most states require guards to be licensed, which means passing a background check and completing basic security classroom training. Security training courses generally cover crime prevention, handling evidence, surveillance, crowd control, emergency response procedures and first aid, and working with law enforcement. Armed security guards receive additional firearms training. If you have advanced career training or a college degree, you'll be in a good position to land better jobs in the field of security and loss prevention.Featured Security Degree and Programs
